Funding made easy

We appreciate the challenging and sometimes monotonous task of fundraising. That’s why we’ve made it as easy and transparent as possible for you to get the funding you need to realise your project.

Funding criteria

We just have 2 simple criteria that your project needs to meet.

Location

We provide funding solely for projects taking place within Tenterden and St Michaels in Kent, UK.

Project category

We provide funding for the following five project categories: education, well-being, sport, community and not-for-profit.

1. Education

Supporting the educational needs of local schools, nurseries, clubs and groups, for all ages.

Ready to apply?

Our digital application form is simple and straightforward and should take about 20mins to complete.

You’ll need a copy of your most recent independently inspected or audited accounts. If your accounts are more than 10 months old, you’ll also need your most recent management accounts.

If you don’t have accounts, you can still apply, but we may contact you for other supplementary information.

We aim to acknowledge receipt of all applications within 48 hours of submission. Applications are reviewed on an ad hoc basis. If your application is time-sensitive, please contact us once you have submitted your application form so that we can prioritise it.

Frequency Asked Questions

How much can I ask for?

We consider all funding applications, whether small or big. We encourage you to ask for what you need.

When Can I apply?

You can apply at any time. We don’t have application deadlines. We review applications twice a year every spring and autumn. However, if your application is time-sensitive, please contact us once you have submitted your application form and we will prioritise it.

When will I hear the result of my application?

We aim to acknowledge receipt of all applications as soon as possible. At which point we will infom you of when we will review your application and make a decision.

How frequently can I apply for funding?

We can only accept applications from a given organisation or individual once a year.

Do you just give one-off funding?

You can only apply for a one-off donation; we do not provide rolling funding.

Can only organisations apply?

We provide funding for both organisations and individuals.

I don’t have accounts that I can submit. Can I still apply?

We understand that not everyone has accounts available for various reasons. You can still apply without them, but we may contact you for other supplementary information.

If I get funding, is there anything I need to do to document my project?

To help us track the positive impact of our funding, we require successful applicants to document their projects and complete a post-project impact funding form which you can view here.
